Michael Jackson´s Neverland to Become a State Park?

California assemblyman Mike Davis has put forward a proposal to
turn the late Michael Jackson´s Neverland ranch into a state park. His
proposal has the support of the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People.
With the site valued at $100 million by the current owners and
the state budget $19 billion in the red, it is unlikely that the
proposal could go forward without a partnership between public and
private interests. A bill may be put forward soon.
"I think Michael’s history is world history, and I think it
would become the number one attraction for the state parks if we could
pull it off," said California Parks Commission member and NAACP
president Alice Huffman.
