A court in New Zealand has heard that drunk driver Paul Nigel
Sneddon, age 47, crashed and flipped his car while driving under the
influence of alcohol. He then went one step further and opened and
consumed another beer while waiting for rescue.
He was nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the
crash. He was asked by police on the scene how much beer he had
consumed, to which he replied: "Plenty, I´ve been drinking for four days
straight."
He told the court he went on the drinking binge after losing his
job and being told his father had prostate cancer on the same day.
