89-year-old Catherine Photos just left Palm Beach State College as she completed her associate degree in Arts.
The widow finally made her dream come true. Since she had to work after high school due to the Great Depression, she has always wanted to go back to college.
In 1995 when her husband passed away, Photos made the decision to return to school. Her next step is to enroll at Florida Atlantic University to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
